It's that time of year again - the Asics British 10K London Run - and this year we have a mighty seven runners for the first time!  Returning Athlone athletes are Mohaia Amin, Anne McArthur and Kim Walker, while our new fab four are Sarah Regh, Dorothee Giret, Claire Brunel and trustee Matthew Smallwood.  Please sponsor them if you can - every single penny is hugely appreciated!

We had six runners in this year's Tenth Anniversary Asics British 10K London Run: Sarah Deane, Christian Taylor and John Darwin all strapped on their running shoes on our behalf once more, while John Darwin, Chris Tagg and new trustee Mohaia Amin took to the track for us for the first time!  As always, we were extremely grateful to all of our runners for taking part in the largest fundraising event of our year.

The 2009 Asics British 10k London Run came round again and this year the trust had five runners taking part: John Darwin, Tony Smart, Sarah Asher, Lena Schmidt and Christian Taylor.  All five completed the run in good time and without too many blisters!  We are very grateful indeed and hope that their efforts will continue to be rewarded over the next few weeks via Justgiving!

Each of our four runners successfully completed the British 10k run, despite the terrible weather on the day - many congratulations to them all!  Together, they have now raised over £3,000 for the Trust, for which we are extremely grateful indeed.
